On Monday I gave a talk at Ladies that UX Aarhus. The point was this: AI has made building cheap. The developer, the head of product and the domain expert can all make a prototype over a weekend. When everyone can build, the scarce part is deciding what is worth building.
A good designer often knows the most about that. The designer knows the users, can run discovery and has the methods to bring people together around a decision.
The challenge is getting heard in the leadership room. We say user testing and journey map. Leadership is listening for risk, cost and lost customers.
That is why Anne Louise Grønnebæk Hansen and I have put together a day for UX designers and product designers. You get up to date on AI in research and discovery, try it out on your own work and go home with a language that gets heard.
Friday 27 November or Friday 22 January at Lynfabrikken in Aarhus. The day is taught in Danish.
Read more and sign up (in Danish).
And if you are a team that wants help with the same thing, that is the kind of work I do as an advisor. Write to me.
